The Brazos Association for Classical Horsemanship (BACH) is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation in Region Nine. BACH has been supporting the horse community in the Brazos Valley for over 10 years.
Located in central Texas, the Brazos Valley region is generally thought to include Brazos County, Robertson County, Grimes County, Washington County, Burleson County, Madison County, and Leon County. Bryan-College Station are at the center of the Brazos Valley. BACH membership is open to anybody, and is not limited to those who live in these counties.
Our goal is to promote good horsemanship through clinics, seminars, and educational programs that stress the principles of classical dressage training and good horse management.
Clinics & Seminars: Throughout the year, BACH sponsors clinics and seminars by world renown dressage clinicians. Over the past years, we have been honored to have the following clinicians:
Education: BACH strives to educate its members and the equine community with a variety of educational programs led by experts in their field. Programs range from breeding to nutraceuticals, to barn management, and designing your own musical freestyle.
Schooling Shows: Twice a year, BACH organizes a schooling show, generously hosted by Topsider Farm (www.topsiderfarm.com). Entry fees are discounted to members. These shows are the perfect way to gain valuable show experience in a very friendly and supportive environment. The goal is to learn and have fun!
Activities: Video nights, potluck dinners, and the annual Christmas
party are just a few of the fun activities that BACH organizes throughout
the year. What a better way to get to know your fellow horsepeople?
