PONY CLUB NEWS

Sara Loupot achieved the United States Pony Club (USPC) Traditional C3 rating in November. USPC changed the rating system this year, and starting in August candidates were required to take two national tests—one for horse management and one for the riding portion of the rating. August was also the beginning of the new specialty ratings. At the C3 level, candidates can now choose to take the traditional rating (eventing) or specialize in either dressage or show jumping. Candidates must pass the specialty ratings in the C3 level before moving on to the specialty B or A ratings.
